Freedom Calls

My dogs made a dash for the door last night and was gone for hours.. Now they do have free access to the back yard and are a spoiled part of our family. But as with many of us they are not satisfied with what they have, always looking for the "open door", to check out what others have. I have come to the decision that it is part of our instinct to check out what is out there. To always be looking at the yard next door. Watching for the open door, last night they took the chance (knowing it was not OK). Today both dogs are relaxed and happy, not a care in the world. Are you willing to go outside of your world to see what is out there. When we stay and fight our instincts we are wound up, stressed, always peeking out the window, and not happy with what we have. It is OK once in a while to follow that dream and get out side yourself. Only then will you find peace, knowing you followed that dream and took action. It is the dreams we don't follow that we regret. The ones we tried and discarded are in the past (just memories), either they are lessons of what not to do again, or they are accomplishments. Chase your freedom, take action on your dreams, this way you do not regret the chance you let go by. . .

Even with their unbounded freedom, they came home! We seek, go after our dreams and at the end of the day come home relaxed and peaceful.

Joy is in the discovery, peace is knowing we took the risk, took the journey, and still found our way home.

Peace, my friend!
